Students are encouraged to attend local shows in order to complete their learning experience, gain new skills, ride horses under new circumstances, and set goals. The farm attends local one-day or weekend shows (within NC) on months with five Saturdays and a few other times throughout the year. Most shows offer a wide variety of classes for young leadline students through advanced riders. These shows are held at one of the local show facilities listed below. Students interested in showing will prepare for such events in their lessons. Leasing is encouraged but not required. Two group prep sessions may be held before each show. Most one-day shows cost an average of $100. A complete fee schedule is available upon request.
