Maple Ridge Farm is home to equestrians of all ages (from 4 to 50+). The atmosphere is fun and laid back. Most of our clients ride stock-type horses in english (hunt seat and hunter jumper) and western (pleasure and reining) disciplines, enjoy trail riding, and compete a few times a year at local shows.
The Farm
Maple Ridge Farm began in 2000 on a blank slate of farmland. That same year, ten acres of cotton fields were seeded with Bermuda grass. In 2001, construction started on the main barn. Nearly the entire barn was built using cleared trees from the property. The main barn features four spacious 12'x12' stalls, a grooming and lounge area, skylights, high ceilings, and a restroom. After the main barn was complete, board fence installation began. The farm owners moved to Maple Ridge Farm from Raleigh in 2003 with their personal horses. The very next year, they opened the doors to their first boarder. As the farm grew and flourished, more space was needed. During the summer of 2007, a second four-stall barn was built. This barn features 10'x12' stalls (one with an adjoining private paddock), high ceilings, and great ventilation.
The Gregorski Family, Owners
The Gregorski family lives in the main house overlooking both barns and pastures. Someone is on-site nearly 24/7. The horses receive excellent care from experienced and knowledgeable caretakers.

Laura Gregorski, Manager/Instructor
Laura began her riding career at the age of seven. She started off riding hunters with respected trainers in the Raleigh area. At age 12, Laura received her first horse, Brandy Fiddler Lady (aka Dezzie), for Christmas. Dezzie was very green broke, but with the help of hunt seat, dressage, and reining trainers, Laura finished her as a hunter/jumper and successfully showed her at local open shows (always placing in the top three, usually in the blue, and taking home many grand championships in the jumping division). While living in Raleigh, Laura volunteered daily at a 40 horse farm, where she learned horse and veterinary care, feeding, handling, and management. She was also involved with horse 4-H, served as president for two years, and participated in 4-H through age 18. In 2003, after moving to Kenly, Laura began riding reining horses. She fell in love with the good mind, quiet nature, and unique talent of the reining horse. From that point forward, Laura has heavily pursued the sport of reining and applied the training techniques to all disciplines. She began riding at local world-renown training barns and started showing successfully in 2006 after the purchase of her first reining horse, West Coast Spirit (aka Breeze). Laura continues to train in the reining discipline today, in addition to teaching others how to rein. Laura currently manages 10 horses, teaches riding lessons to 16 students, and trains horses throughout the week. She also has over 500 hours working with the farm's equine veterinarian and is currently a senior at North Carolina State University in Animal Science.
